Scarlet began dancing at the age of six. She joined Pacific Dance Center at age eight. She loves all styles of dance, although classical, contemporary, and hip-hop are her favorites. In 2022 Scarlet was offered the role of Clara in Launch Dance Center’s The Nutcracker. That performance is something she will hold close to her heart forever. It was at this moment she realized she wanted to continue to feel the “magic” and pursue a career as a professional dancer.
Scarlet has performed with the American Contemporary Ballet (ACB) in Los Angeles as Baby Ginger for their production of The Nutcracker. She also performed in ACB’s spring show Homecoming. In the fall of 2022 Scarlet auditioned for summer intensives. She was accepted to The Rock School in Philadelphia, Straz Patel Conservatory in Florida, Oregon Ballet Theater (OBT), and American Academy of Ballet in New York (AAB). She was coincidentally offered scholarships to attend Straz and AAB. After choosing to attend Oregon Ballet Theater, AAB reached out and offered her a full two-week scholarship which she graciously accepted. She spent two weeks at AAB and two weeks at OBT. The four weeks of rigorous training she received this past summer taught her so much and made her love of dance even stronger. Scarlet not only looks forward to what this year will bring but is also excited to see what the future has in store. She has had many amazing accomplishments in her years of dancing and cannot wait to share her love of dance with her students.
