Pacific Dance Center has been a successful dance studio in Redondo Beach, CA for many years. While maintaining our strong ballet program and ever-popular Winter Production of the Nutcracker, we are happy to announce that our new owner, Miss Laura Wahl is also excited to bring fresh ideas and a new energy to the studio.
After over 20 years in business, Pacific Dance Center will now become Launch Dance Center.
We are happy to be diversifying and broadening our curriculum, incorporating new programs and bringing exciting new productions, events, and opportunities for our dancers! We are currently rebranding and building a new website. You will find valuable information below for our Spring Production and Summer Programs. SUMMER CAMPS
July 5-8, 2022

During this dance filled camp, dancers are immersed in all styles of dance. This is the perfect camp for anyone that is newer to dance and interested in getting a little sampler of everything. Classes will include ballet, jazz, tap, acro, musical theatre, lyrical and more.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Our development intensives are for dancers looking to advance their technique to the next level. While being trained in all disciplines, our dancers will develop their skills and refine their craft. With a ballet focus and high level technique classes in other styles, this program will help your dancer expand their horizons and strengthen their training.
This program dives into the important aspects of being a well-rounded dancer in and out of the studio.
In addition to their technique-driven classes focusing on different genres of dance, your dancer will be given an opportunity to learn and take enrichment and specialty classes from guest teachers.

The curriculum is designed by divisions and contains the following:

Technique classes: Classical ballet, pointe, pre-pointe, contemporary, hip hop, jazz, lyrical and modern.

Specialty classes: Acro, ballet variations, bollywood, flamenco, hula, pilates, stretch & strength, technique conditioning.

Enrichment classes: Goal setting, healthy dancer series, injury prevention, intro choreography, performance techniques, stage make-up and more.
